On May 7, Jiu-jutsu championship was held on the fighting version of the Religious Sports Society, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader in Jiu-jutsu.
Olympic champion Zemfira Meftakhetdinova, chairman of the Religious Sports Society, Seymur Safarov, Jiu-jutsu curator of the Japanese Martial Arts and Culture Association, and Mirali Seyidov, president of the Jiu-jutsu Federation, took part in the event.
"Leading the development of mass sports is a matter of great political importance, because our state concern for the health of the people has always been and still is."
