On March 4, 2023, the European Sumo Cup was held in Brandenburg, Germany.

On March 4, 2023, the European Sumo Cup was held in Brandenburg, Germany. Up to 200 athletes from different cities of Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Norway and Germany took part in the competition. Chingiz Samadov, the only athlete representing our country (-100 kg), won the title of champion by defeating all competitors.
