''Erd Cup'' 2023 international tournament

On January 14-15, 2023, the "Erd Cup 2023" international sumo tournament was held in Erd, Hungary. Up to 300 athletes from different cities of Azerbaijan, Poland, Germany, Norway, Tajikistan and Hungary participated in the competition.

Men: +115kg - Feyziyev Jamal (1 place) -115kg - Agamaliyev Sadig (3 places) -70kg - Abdullayev Khayyam (3 places)

Absolute weight: - Aghamaliyev Sadiq (2nd place) - Feyziyev Jamal (3rd place)

Youth: -100kg - Shikhbabayev Arif (2nd place) -100kg - Bakhtiyarov Ramazan (3rd place) -85kg - Nihad Mammadzade (3rd place) -65kg - Hajiyev Rufat (3rd place)!!

7 sumo wrestlers represented our country and won 3 gold, 3 silver and bronze medals (total 13 medals).

In the overall team score, 1st place - Hungary, 2nd place - Poland, 3rd place - Azerbaijan
