On January 30, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with Azerbaijani athletes who won medals in international tournaments this month. Greeting the athletes, Farid Gayibov congratulated them on becoming the first winners of the year and wished them new victories. At the event, the athletes who successfully represented our country in sumo competitions of the Association of Japanese Martial Arts and Culture gave speeches and informed about their victories. The coaches of the national teams in those sports talked about the athletes' training process, participation in the competitions and preparation for the upcoming tournaments. Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva also participated in the meeting
